Karoon Shipyard Factory is one of the subsidiary companies of ARSH HOLDING which itself is one of the leading private sector group of companies in Iran with more than 13 companies within the country and abroad, playing its effective role in the first level of Industrial, Mineral & Economical fields.
Karoon Shipyard factory was established in 2002 in East Haffar, Khoramshahr, south part of Iran. The primary operational planning and designs were conducted with the aim of answering the marine project needs in Khoramshahr in first stages and in following phases it can be a center for all the marine Industry requirements in the region.
Being located in a strategic zone, having the access to international waters, having the ability to present different marine services locally and abroad, equipped with most up-to-date technologies and project control systems are some of the unique advantages of this factory which give it some privileges in comparison with other competitors.
Karoon Shipyard benefits from other preferences such as owning a land suitable for establishing the ship building yards and building platforms beside utilizing the advanced industrial equipments and machineries for constructing and producing the offshore industries and expanded marine services. All these factors have prepared this factory an appropriate potentiality for dealing with various marine projects.
Right now this factory has built one Landing Craft (1800 Tons) and one Barge (5000 Tons) and has the capacity of building 20 ships simultaneously.
