The mines are divine expanded reservoir in the land which can create economical growth and constant development in our honored Islamic Iran that is only possible by increasing of value of production in a complete industrial and mineral process. In recent years development and extension of metallurgical industries and planning to increase of production of capacity of steel up to more than 20 million tons is essentially in need of metallurgical coke as main material of significant operations and energizing to convert iron ore to raw iron.

Technical – Economical charts indicate that one of the obstacles of production and development of industries of iron and steel in recent years is caused by intense shortage of « metallurgical coke » in the country and even in international market. Therefore in this case with respect to availability of final reservoir of 250 million tons of coke coal in efficient mines in the geological zone of Central Alborz in province of Mazandaran is directed us to have a complex plan of « extraction, processing and producing of metallurgical coke » which has been instructed as new projects in our country as follows :

• Equipping and mechanizing of Galiran mines for yearly extraction of 500,000 tons of coal and providing of other 500,000 tons from other mines of Central Alborz.
• Establishment of coal washing plant to enrich of coal and production of 600,000 tons coal concentrate.
• Establishment of great coke making Manufactories and chemical materials for production of 400,000 « metallurgical coke » for supply of urgent needs to Iranian steel and industries of the country. Undoubtedly, with performance of these national and strategic projects and with trusting on reservoir of great mines of the Central Alborz and specially Galiran mines, it can be fulfilled outlook of industrial and mineral development of Iran and changing of Mazandaran to a significant industrial-mineral pole.
• As this technical, economical and social event is accomplished due to recommendation of socio-economical authorities of the country and for the first time with taking advantage of updated worldwide technology by private sectors; we hope with supporting of executive managers of steel industry of the country, Respected Representatives of the People in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Respected Governor General and other relevant directors of the province, will observe the revenue and upcoming changes in the region.
  

In consideration of capacity of the investment in establishment of this significant project and variety of technology and its production specially coke gas with high heating volume will create expanded specter of various industries with the aim of using of heating and chemical energy in the region which with "direct occupation of 2470 persons and indirect occupation of 4950 persons", economical equations of that region will be changed and we will witness of appearance of a new mineral-industrial pole in the north of the Iran. Hope to fulfill of this important goal and honor of respected Iranian people.
