Regarding the coastal line in south of Iran with the length of 1800 km and existence of numerous ports in this region, there is a strong potential for establishing cement factories; right now other than Hormozgan Cement Factory located in Khamir port & Boushehr Cement Factory in Borazjan, there isn't any other registered cement project in southern provinces of Iran. Most of the exportable cement of our southern ports are supplied from other provinces and the ever growing need for exporting, emphasizes the necessity of establishing some new unites in this region.

Tangestan Cement Factory with the product capacity of 3300T/D is located in 3 km distance from Ahram city, 35 km from Delvar port & 55 km from Boushehr port. Primary procedures such as principle agreements, land purchasing, primary studies & … have been done.

The location of this project has an appropriate climate and being neer Boushehr & Delvar ports beside the existence of connection road between Asaloyeh-Shiraz-Borazjan-Ahvaz in 2km distance of this area adds to the strategic importance of the project.

We are taking last steps in L/C opening procedure and negotiation for purchasing the machinery is in process.

The timing for execution of Tangestan Project is estimated to be 3 years, of course we hope by using some preparations this time would be shortened.
